Owned the E90 in both the sedan and coupe. Completely different cars than an F10. The E90 handled much tighter. The F10 is more of a touring car. I personally liked the way our F33 handled in the corners the best, but the F10 is extremely comfortable on a long road trip. The F33 was like a go kart. The E90 was a tad too small for my wife and I. I think the next one we'll try will be an F13.

E90 (i owned a couple for like 6+ years) is a very hard sprung, sporty driving car, much like E60 used to be also. The F series are much more comfortable. While I get what you are saying, for me in my 30s the smoother ride is a nice quality to have. Mind you, Ive had the z4 for 4 years also and that was very stiff. Your feedback is exactly what mine is comparing F11 to E90s, but I dont see it bad.
also, if you ever got the F10/11 with active drive and active dampers you probably would have a massively different conclusion i.e. F10 is amazing and E90 has a shit ride. Because make no mistake, E90 rides BADLY and its a result of its well handling chassis.
