Cheers for reply,

Yeh i did that last night , I have got the sub menu but no mention of weather there, i got all the other options like, day/night mode, grey traffic mode, satellite images but no weather option ? what version of sat nav are you running ?

Any ideas ?? Am i missing something ? Does having all the POI's switched make a difference ? I have got full screen prof nav media with all the online services active ? Could it be anything to do with the build date of the car ?

Ta..

I suggest that you go into your BMW Online services and update them. I had this happen last week when I took the car to Switzerland- worked fine on the way down but when I came back to the car after a week it had lost the weather option and some of the online stuff. I think I found the update services function in the Online Menu but anyway it sorted the problem for me. Give it a go . . .

When I first got the car, one of my first views of 3D sat nav was approaching the Blackwall Tunnel - The Dome (renamed to O2) appears in 3D and shows as you drive under it through the tunnel - Very Cool!

Next time, I might get a passenger to snap a pic of the display.

Glasgow City Centre and few other buildings outside the City has 3D on the map. I usually have my Zoom set to 75 yards and I see whatever the available 3D building. Coolest thing is how they appear in the horizon

Honestly, never seen the Weather icons on the map, will check and come back.

Yep was in birmingham City Centre the other day had loads of 3d buildings it was very cool....

As far as i can work out weather icons on the map only work with cars built from Sept 2010 onwards....
