Anti Theft Bolts for MORR VS70
Hi there,
For you guys with MORR wheels (VS70) do you use anti-theft bolts? Unfortunately I only have regular bolts on as the anti-theft bolts are too thick ti fit inside the wheel. Hope you can help as I don't want to find my car on bricks

Other companies than BMW make and supply locking bolts. I have some McGard SL-series bolts on an aftermarket wheel (McGard does not sell this series in the USA, I bought them from England, they're made in Germany). You may need a thin-wall socket, but they do fit mine. Check the diameter of the hole carefully, then check the specs. ECSTuning sells a nice no-mar, thin-wall socket.

You mean the OEM anti theft bolt doesn't fit?

RAD also makes wheel bolts/locks that fits aftermarket wheels just fine. The OEM ones are way too big to work on most wheels besides factory.

Wheel locking bolts are not all created equal...an English car magazine did a test - had some 'reformed' car thieves see what they could do with a bunch of different locks. All but one were off in less than 30-seconds. The only one that took them awhile, and then, only with power tools was the McGard SL-series - it took them about 5-minutes and a power impact wrench to get them off. Somebody using an impact wrench won't be very stealthy, not counting the time it would take to get a full set. http://www.mcgard.de/en/home/automot...-security.html
