N63 Cust Care Package question
I just learned of this issue recently, and have been reading through a variety of postings and threads. When is a recall not a recall?
Anyway, my 2013 550 has roughly 32,000 miles on it and I have experienced no problems or issues. Is there any thought or suggestion that I should NOT have the services performed? Has anyone experienced problems after having done it that they did not have previously? Many thanks for your thoughts. Bill

Bill,
Strongly suggest you have the work done. I had mine done recently (2012 550iX at +60k miles) and the SA reported quite a few components that were on the verge of failure. This is an extremely expensive programs for BMW (nearly 4 days of labor alone) and they are definitely not doing it out of the goodness of their heart. Your turbo, fuel injection or timing chain will eventually fail prematurely if the work is not done. |

^^^^what he said. My car was in the shop 4 seperate times for components related this this CCP/recall.
BMW states this is not a recall but it clearly stated 'Recall' on my service paperwork. |
