F10 540d coming in March?

The tuning company Promotech: http://promotech.se/?la=en that manufactures tuning boxes for diesel engines is listing the F10 540d 306 hp 600 Nm as of 2011.03.

Will the 540d actually arrive in March and will the 535d then be discontinued?

A wild guess from the tuner( = wrong ).

But, wait one more year and there will be a 550xD, triple turbo inline-6 diesel.
380hp / 740Nm.

Didn't someone say that the 530d was getting a power and torque increase from March, 265 HP, can't remember torque figure, so I wonder if the 535d is getting a wee tweak at the same time ?

BMW numbering has never really been consistent over the years. Perhaps part of the confusion over '540d' is due to BMW using 740d for the same engine, in the 7-series, which incidentally is already at 225kW/306hp.

BTW, the X3 gets 258hp in the 3.0d when it is released, so the figures are already climbing.

It's just that the tuning company is listing the 535d 300 hp from 2010.03 and then also the 540d 306 hp from 2011.03.

And 6 months after this comes the next surprise - M50D with 400hp, 800Nm.
Yes, it will be the first M-diesel!

My goodness,please don't frighten me like that.I thought you were announcing that an F10 diesel was coming to the US next March! It's what I'm waiting very impatiently for.
