F10 550i Heads Up Display

Im thinking about getting into a 550i and i have a questions for HUD.
Does the Heads up display show the RPM?

No, it does not.

It does not display RPM but it's great for speed and navigation! Well worth the money.

On the same track, I wish it did display the RPM and Turn Signal indicators

HUD shows:

Actual speed;
Speed limit info (optional);
Navigation;
(Active) cruise control and collision warning (optional)

Is it possible to integrate valentine 1 and passport 9500 into the HUD like you can on Cadillac and Corvette cars?

What do you mean by "integrate"? I don't see how you could mod the HUD at all.

Does it not even show the gear you are in? Sorry but that's a bit useless then, the HUD on my M5 shows gear and rpm which are the two of three most important bits of info when having a spirited drive

This is what I mean by integrate radar with HUD

There are several plug n play solutions which provide additional radar data onto the HUD on vette. There also are ones which integrate radar data onto the cluster LCD on Mercedes. I'm asking if something like that exists or BMW.

I had HUD with my 2006 M and it showed RPM and gear which was awesome (yes already said above). that said, I just got my 2011 550 and the HUD is a bit nicer quality. it shows speed and nav which are the two most important to me. if possible, i would never get another car without it.

So pleased I ordered HUD on my 550, which is due next month

I do a lot of interstate driving and am constantly watching my speed, so it will be very nice not to have to take my eyes off the road to check the speed or navigation.

Never had HUD before but have seen it in action and I want it!!!!!
