Do you test drive your newly delivered car at the dealership before signing .....

Once your new F10 arrive at the dealership, do you inspect the car carefully and test drive it before you make your payment or sign on the dotted line?

It would be pretty upsetting to drive home your brand new car and later find some scratches/dents/ or other imperfections right after you park your car in your garage/driveway.

I would go around it and check. That is why I did not agree to pick up the car after the sunset. I left the office to be able to see it during the day. Even if the do it in the building the lighting can never be as good as outside. But - my experience is that they would openly say if something was wrong. It happened to me with my previous car. They fixed it later on and I git some nice gadgets for free!

I tested it.
I was looking if it pulls to the right or jerks (problems discussed in the forum)
It just makes me feel better if I could examine on it and pick it back home flawless.

My car came in with the rear bumper slightly damaged on transport, I noticed it after about a week. But the sales person was good enough to get it fixed for me later on.

It is always good to check the car thoroughly before signing up.

No need for this, my dealership is the best, I purchased my 4th BMW, and never had complaints.

Ditto. However, there's nothing wrong with checking out the car thoroughly in the daylight, taking it for a test drive etc. It's a lot of money and if you have never bought a car from those people before or are just nervous, then by all means do whatever it takes for peace of mind!

My very first BMW had two issues which I found pre-delivery, so I cannot argue with anyone who would want to inspect their new car.
