Agreed, the front are easy, the rear need a piece installed before installation and there are NO instructions provided with the stupid flaps!

Just curious, why are you using mudflaps? is it the terrain you have to deal with or for style?

Don't put mud flaps on a BMW! That makes the install real easy.

I'm still curious why? it makes them look like some sort of Honda accord or Toyota Camry IMO.

I'm guessing its because of the roads or gravel so they don't flick up on the paint of the rocker panel and rear fenders.

Mud flaps.

The term mud flaps just doesn't sound correct for a BMW.

Splash guards sound more appropriate.

I have the OEM guards installed front and rear. Around here (WI) we have a lot of road debris that can create havoc with paint. I like the look, very unobtrusive.

Dealer installed.

Yes, the way these are designed, they flow into the body Beautifully. The F10 looks BETTER with the Splash guards installed. As a bonus, they keep the fenders from getting rock chips...

And Thank you E90Fleet for posting the installation instructions. Just finished putting on the rears today. They look fantastic on Silver Msport with the side panels. Blank and silver blending look fantastic.

I agree. I just bought a used 16 528i xDrive. The "splash guards, aka, " mudflats'" work will in preventing slushcycles from hanging down from the car in the winter time. I've always install them on vehicles that I've owned.

I also have the factory splash guards on all 4 wheels. Keeps the car cleaner. Installed them myself.

I am a terrible mechanic, so it took at least twice as long as the manual to install them.

Very high quality.
