My BMW app

I already searched and was unsuccessful...

Apparently the ConnectedDrive app is no more and is being replaced by the My BMW app. I stupidly deleted the CD app and installed the new one. I suspect the new one is for G+ chassis cars and just plain sucks, at least for me, in my 2014.

Anyone else with an F car have this issue?

I have the MyBMW app for my 2014 F10, remote services work, that’s the only feature lol

After waiting an inordinate amount of time, the BMW APPS finally loaded. The new app doesn't have the amount of fuel left/distance to empty or the driving range map. To me, this "upgrade" is actually a downgrade.

Correct, I wished it had fuel level and milage. My Toyota has a better app than bmw...

at&t shut down there 3g services thats why the apps trash now

That shouldn't have anything to do with the app, should it? If so, just update the old app. Why release a new, less informative app?

Google is FAMOUS for this lol. Maybe BMW hired some ex-Google engineers

I upgraded to the new My BMW app the other day and my 2014 X5 still has the same limited (free) features. I can still do a few remote things like "find my vehicle", aux ventilation, turn on lights, honk the horn etc....but most of all...I can still use the maps feature to send a destination to the navigation system.

Once I send...when I go to the car, all I need to do is go to the Connected App place in iDrive and look for MESSAGES. From there you can transfer the address you sent to your nav system.

I will miss this when 3G goes down for the last count.

Can't seem to get the app to work at all for me?

I have a profile on the bmw website with my f10 and f15 added to my account.

When I go to add a vehicle it gives me an error every time on my iOS device. I had connected drive app previous no issues.

If your f10 is 3G the app doesn't work anymore.

Most likely both of your vehicles have 3G TCB. It is basically a brick at this point. If connected service is that important, you can upgrade to 4G TCB or do a big overhaul and upgrade to NBT EVO with ATM 4G.

May need more. I have an acquaintance that is working on this now; he is a BMW whiz. He updated me on his progress and so far, the parts alone are at least $2K. It's more involved than just upgrading parts. He hasn't got to the coding yet.

Many have upgraded to NBT EVO. It's not that hard if you know what you are doing. This have been discussed a lot. There are two ways.

1. Purchase from eBay and the seller will even do coding for you. It will be a direct plug and play. It used to be around $1200-1300 but now is around $1500-1600. You will not get ATM or connected service.

2. If you want connected service and know how to modify/run wires, it will run about $800-1000 for everything. Best is to get the ATM and HU from the same car to have matching FSC. You can purchase pre-made wires from ATM to HU or you can modify an Ethernet cable and run it from ATM to HU and then code it.

I just added the f82 I purchased a 4G ATM from on the mygarage.bmwusa.com site and the app still gives me the same error.

The atm is not hooked up yet - waiting on my evo to do my project. However - shouldn't the app either a) show me my vehicles like the website does or b) let me add them without error?

Secondly,

If one got an ATM and an Evo from the same vehicle - would there then be no coding needed since you would code the evo to the atm vin anyway?

You have to code. Doner vehicle will not have same options as your vehicle.
