N55 - cant make sense of these codes
2011 535i X
after some transmission work i had to clear out my faults on ista. read the codes after 60-100 miles, no CEL, but got a 119201 code for low fuel pressure sensor. i replaced the sensor. ran ista again, same code was still there. cleared it. drove the car, then a CEL came on. read the codes and got the following: 119201 - fuel low pressure sensor (existent - yes) 130304 - Vanos exhaust control fault camshaft stuck (existent - unknown) 120408 - charging pressure control switch off as consequence (existent - no) 140010 - combustion misfire several cyl detected (existent - no) 140510 - combustion misfire several cyl 5 detected (existent - no) 140004 -misfire several cyldinders damaging exhaust gas (existent - no) 140504- misfire cyl 5 damaging exauhst gas (existent - no) 481f8f - electronic wheel module position unknown (existent - unknown) 030215 - shd no normalization (existent - yes) 800f8c - turning light left faulty (existent - yes) 800f8d - turning light right faulty (existent - yes) fuel pressure sensor - new - oem spark plus - new - oem coils - new - oem oil changed recently battery charged only troubles ive noticed is the car will surge almost to full stall when i first drive the car. 2-2500 rpm. itll only do it once after first cold start up. very odd miss only in idle and only for a little bit once its warm it runs like a dream. it does not show up in the rpm gauge either. is it in fact the vanos gear? vanos solenoid? or a fuel pump or injector? im going to pull the 5th plug and see if it smells like fuel but im not sure whats going on and dont feel like playing the guessing game and throw random parts at this anymore. |
