Anyone use 10mm or 12mm spacers on the front?

I have read and been informed from some spacer companies not to use any spacer less than 12mm. I think it has to do with not being able to safely have enough space to make a hub centric lip on the spacer.

we recommend the same for customers who want to use a 10mm spacer, we push for the 12mm spacer because the 12mm has more actual lip that serves as the hub for the wheel compared to the 10mm.

Thanks bud. That was what I was thinking. I am amazed at how many people run HR 10mm spacers in the front. The front has a lot of weight and movement to a accommodate as well.
