What is the difference?
I have a 2011 535i M-Sport which means my car is equipped with DDC (I think). I believe if your suspension settings go from Comfort->Normal->Sport->Sport+ then you have DDC. Please correct me if I am wrong. So my question is when I put the car in Sport mode and have Sport mode configured to tune both my chassis and drivetrain settings I can feel the suspension tighten and the transmission usually kicks down a gear and the shift patterns become more aggressive. What I am trying to figure out is if I am in Sport mode and then I move the gear selector to the manual/sport gate on my sport automatic transmission, the gearshifts seem to become even more aggressive. What is the difference between the two transmission settings???

My 535i does the same as you describe. Also if you configure without drivetrain checked in iDrive and are running sport mode, a change to Sport+ mode the gears will drop as the sport gearbox program takes over. Here's my observation. Quote:
