Just picked up a replica m perf lip (urethane) off the eBay seller Selma (very popular vendor for the f30s). I havnt installed it but initial test fit looks to be pretty damn good. Only $185 shipped too. Something to consider.

Looks mean! Question, how was the fitment at the top of the fangs, near the plastic that joins the fog light? Was it fully flush, or was there a slight gap in between? I did a test fitment and just the very top of the fangs (like a 1/4 inch of the car's Paint will show, for which a cf vinyl wrap will be used to mask the gap |

No It came in that Matte black/Grey finish.
I had a shop paint it for me. Painted the part that wraps around the front bumper part (fangs?) in body colour, so carbon black. And then paint the lower diffuser part gloss black. He did the same thing with my rear diffuser. Painted the final section gloss black and the rest in carbon black. |

In my case, because it is all the same colour, any gap won't be noticeable. In your case, a black vinyl or. Cf vinyl might blend in quite nicely. I have some close up pics of the fitment of you want to see. I can't attach them on my phone though. Pm me with your email. |

Here we go. We definitely need to improve the image uploading system here! Anyway, i'm satisfied with the results. The lip is bolted through the same holes that holds the bumper cover together. The only adjustment was adding a bolts through the middle and into the bumper plastic. Solid feel.

I'm going to remove the plastic cover (last pic) that holds the fog lights so that I can wrap that inside part with 3M black tape to mask the visible white line. Anyone knows how this is removed? do I simply try to pull it?

Looks great, definitely can't beat the OEM fitment! You got a great deal on that piece for sure. And from what I've read on here, the mesh around the fog lights should pull straight out with a little force. I believe it's just held in with some clips, but don't take my word for it. I'll search a little and let you know if I find anything

I believe this thread should help, it shows the piece removed so you can see where the clips are. I'm sure there's other threads that may be more descriptive, but from what I can tell it can be removed pretty easily...

His was the OEM BMW front lip from the dealer. If you're talking about the other lip posted in this thread by e30tof30, he got that from "selmaautousa" on ebay if I remember correctly. I don't think they have any listed at the moment, but I'm sure if you send them a message they have more.
