Tpms reset

Reposting here in case this might a coding or some kind of software related reset.
Basically, I reset the tpms on the car and it will show active until I shut off the car and restart it. It will give me a malfunction error and go away and tpms will show active after driving a few mins.

Anybody experience this?

my new aftermarket TPMS were giving me malfunctions every so often for about 2 weeks and at first they didn't wanna pair took forever and a few resets, now lately it hasn't done it, very rare, usually when I go over 100mph and hold it.

My 2011 550i xDrive was doing a similar thing. It would show a TPMS malfunction every 25 miles. It would take 12 miles to reset then trip an error again. It was under warranty so I took it in to the dealer. At first they wanted to blame the non-run flats, I asked how that could be? The SA couldn't come up with a good reason. So they did some checking. Turned out to be the right rear wheel speed sensor. Not sure if it was throwing a code or how they figured that out. They changed the sensor and its been fine for several thousand miles since.

Hey Guys, thanks for the input. Im hoping that I dont have any speed sensor issue ask I dont have this issue in my OEM 351M set. its after swapping into this new set is when i started seeing this issue. Im putting my 351M back next week cuz the car is going in for service so we'll see if the issue is isolated on my new set.

I just find it weird that it knows its there and sets the TPM on active after driving for a few mins. Its like it doesnt store the new TPM information and have to keep scanning for it everytime i restart the car.
