21" Hamann Wheels on F11

Having seen some amazing cars on here with 21" wheels, I'm wondering if anyone knows if these wheels would fit my F11?

The factory in China will do them for $900 including air freight. Of course, I know they are not really "forged" wheels. But they will be no worse than the M5 replicas that I currently have.

Any advice would be appreciated, Andy.

I always used to apply the rule when buying from unknown Chinese suppliers "Don't buy anything you put in the mains or your mouth." I think I would extend that to include anything you might rely on to keep you alive in difficult circumstances. I am probably an over cautious person but unless I had proof that these were high quality, I would assume they were rubbish.

Look lovely and would suit an M Sport but I'm with MrPogle, sounds too cheap to me...

Given that the air freight will cost about $200 for 4 wheels...ho hum.
You pays your money and makes your choice.
How much are you thinking of spending on tyres? They will be seriously low profile and seriously pricey...25 or 30 profile depending on width...

Im with johnny, i have 20's at present and the biggest downfall in my eyes for 21" is lack of cheaper tyre suppliers, unless you have deep pockets for the likes of michelin, bridgestone, goodyear etc. Its going to cost you more for the rubber than the wheels, and as awsome as 21's would look i seriously reckon the ride would be crap.
My 20's ride like poo to be fair, but definately do the f10/f11 real justice, aesthetics wise.

There's an old rule with wheels:
  1. Cheap
  2. Light
  3. Strong

You can only have 2 of the 3.

This is true.

If they're strong and cheap then, like you say, you won't be much worse off than you are with your M5 reps.

Lets face it, the wheel is hardly likely to deform catastrophically at high speed. Likely worst case scenario is poor balancing and/or buckling. If you're okay with those potential risks then I'd say go for it.

On the contrary. Hitting a pothole at high speed with proper wheels can leave you with a damaged rim and a sudden flat tyre (which your RFTs should cope with with minimal drama). The same impact can literally shatter some poor-quality wheels leaving you with 3 wheels and doing 90mph.

Fully agree, especially when down to wheels only connection between car and road, I will not risk tyres and rims regardless especially with the power behind the F10s compare to other every day cars.

Import duty, plus handling charge then 20% VAT on all the costs including postage/transportation, could easily add another 40% to the price you end up paying. Worth taking into account.
