Enzo Performance

Hey guys, stay AWAY FROM ENZO PERFORMANCE the shop has been blowing cars up and not installing parts.
I say this because over the years i have mentioned them, they flashed Arches car which was fast but eventually had major issues and we can't prove they actually did flash it. Because car already had a flash from another company.

I heard bad things about them when I had my e82. Another member posted how his ecu looked after sending it to Enzo and it was sloppy and solder was everywhere. His tunes are way to aggressive.

I heard about this too, which was why when Arch's mentioned the tune I was a little uneasy at first. Good to see some solid confirmation. Thanks for the heads up

Just thought I would drop this here, our big turbo kit for the N55 made some impressive numbers, and it didn't blow up

632whp and 525wtq @25psi. Which means at 29-30psi things will get serious. We noticed a bit of a skip around 28 and suspect spark, we will be digging deeper to get every bit out of her.

turbo kit with the proper fueling and ignition upgrades (and engine internals) can easily produce over 700-800 at 35-40 psi.

Also we are now accepting names for the N55 Big Turbo Group Buy list. We are thinking 15-20, so please get on it before it's too late. We already have 5 spots taken.

Post links of good and bad experiences. Seems like Enzo was doing good things for people on the east. Wonder if people blew their shit up because of poor maintenance or tune...

Solder? There should not be any solder on the ECU unless chips were knocked off while tuner opened up the ECU.

How about the trans?? Can it handle the power without serious upgrades? What is total estimated cost with all necessary upgrades?

THANKS!!

I'm getting 504wtq on 16psi @ 4k rpm. 25-30psi is nuts, but still doable. 25 psi you should consider new internals. 30-40 psi is playing with fire and you should be a mechanic along with being prepared for frequent maintenance. Isn't raising the overall boost operation kinda the global way to request power with out touching the other engine variables?

30psi is spark blow territory for sure...

@enzo can you guys put up some info showing owners fault?

Mopes CLS? he was just raving about them.... i am not a client of theirs and have no affiliation with them for me any tuner that blows cars up is a shit tuner. Maybe they are 2 busy copying intake designs.
damn mop3s removed his account....

For all you N55 guys out there.Sorry for the delay. Just gathering all the bits and pieces of the kit we need to get these rolling out. For starters we have been getting a lot calls regarding how our kit compares to other "bolt-on" stock replacement turbochargers. The very simple response is it doesn't, in anyway.

1. For starters our package removes/disables the electronic waste-gate(EWG), factory Diverter Valve and MAF sensor. Our unique ECU Calibration allows for a CEL Free operation, no drive-train malfunctions, no faults with added use of a TiAL wastegate and an optional TiAL BOV. The ECU calibration allows for a MAFless operation that now uses speed density (MAP Sensor).

2. Our Tubular Manifold utilizes a V-Band flange. Making switching turbine housings possible along with changing complete turbo assemblies, GT30,GT35,GT40 etc. Did we mention our manifold is completely designed and fabricated in house.

3. The Garrett 3586 included in our kit comes alive at 25 psi (it can operate upwards up to 40 psi)

4. All oil and coolant lines are custom assembled in house using only the best AN hoses and fittings. We decided to go with AN due to the reliability and flexibility of changing line configuration depending of vehicle model.

5. At low boost (16-18psi) we experienced 560whp, 26psi psi, 632whp. With proper fuel, ignition, clutch, engine upgrades power levels closer to 750-800hp are completely possible.

Our kit will include the following.

-3586 Ball Bearing Turbocharger
-Enzo Performance Tubular Manifold
-Custom Coolant and Oil Lines/AN Fittings
-Custom Downpipe/Wastegate dump and hardware
-Enzo Performance Custom ECU Calibration.
-TiAL Wastegate and optional BOV
-Custom Charge and intake Piping with High Flow Air-filter.
-Hallman-Pro Boost Controller with Vacuum fittings and Lines

We are limiting our Group Buy purchase price to the first 20 participants. We already have a few names on the list so please email info@enzoperformance.com if you are seriously considering our package. Current group buy pricing will begin at $7685. Expect that number to approach closer to $9650 when the group buy is over. For any questions please give us a call 631-920-6699 or email us today. We look forward to pushing the N55 platform, please join us Oct 2nd Sunday BBQ for a more in depth look into our turbo kit.

Recommended supporting modifications.

-Port injection
-Enzo Performance TiAL BOV kit
-Upgraded In-tank E85 Fuel Pump
-JB4 For logging and Map switching

Hot damn @enzo looks nice.

So far at 16 psi /500wtq stock turbo, internals and clutch* on my ride are alive and working. 25psi and fuel upgrades are necessary as you guys mentioned, but what about trans and internals?

this upgrade is not possible for those if us with the ZF 8hp45, because that group buy price wouldn't include the price of a new tranny and tow to the dealer.

Haha "the tow to the dealer"

From 600whp - 0 results may vary.

And tbh, this was a thread that was just bashing them regarding cars they've tuned and how they've incurred numerous problems over time. I really don't see how marketing big turbos with big gains is the right response to the criticism...

It doesn't seem like they want to be pulled into drama which we all know the boards are full of. That said those posts about hydro lock are serious accusations and require some clarification so I agree with you, that the big turbo with custom manifold doesn't really help solve the mystery for those cars that were destroyed. However, it may point to how the cars got hydro locked in the first place from a "tune". Upgrading your oil and coolant lines isn't a "tune" that's part of a rebuild.

I trust my mechanic and tuner, but not all tuners are mechanics and vise versa.
