Fast Forward or Rewind of Song

In my 3 series if I hold the steering wheel buttons for skipping to the next or previous song, the CD or stored music will fast forward (like if you want to skip ahead to the middle of a track)

Is there any way to do this from the steering wheel controls on my 2011 535 ? or do I have to use the buttons on the center console stereo?

I can't find it in the owners manual
