Yup noticed that. I did a quick measurement even, and looks like it will dock at about 5am local time

Let's see if customs got the hiccup from the last terrorist attempts or not. Hopefully not, but you never know. Please keep me in the loop as you receive updates, and I certainly will do the same as well.

ryanmg, any updates? My CA emailed me and told me that the vehicle has been released to the trucking company. Not sure what it really means yet, but that was the message he passed on.

Mine seems to still be in CA, but the documentation indicates it has cleared VPC (so thankfully nothing much was wrong with it). But it is waiting for a truck apparently...

salamigs, car is at the dealer and will be ready tomorrow, but can't pick up until Saturday. It's for my mom anyways, but I'll be sure and take it for a good tire kicking. Now I have to get busy on selling my 330i as I'll be purchasing her old E60 off the lease. Something tells me I'll regret selling the 330i just as much as I regret selling my 84' Euro 323i. Perhaps I just need a bigger garage.

As for my story, the car is yet to arrive at the dealer. Apparently it was released from VPC on 11/11, and due at the dealer on 11/14. Wonder what they will do with the car as the dealer will be closed on Sunday...

Any idea how long yours took at the VPC? If it literally ended up being at the dealer on 11/11, then it must have been released from VPC on 11/10, right?

salamigs, yes the car arrived on 11/11 and my mom picked it up on 11/13. Exterior/Interior color is perfect. Any update on yours?

Looks good ryanmg. Mine seems to have arrived at the dealer today. How long did VDI take for you? Sounds like mine will take 2.5 days solid, and am expecting to take ownership on Wednesday if everything goes right.

How does it drive? Any plans to tint the windows under the AZ sun? Or are they already tinted (cannot tell from here).

It drives great. The car was ready for pick up 24 hours after delivery. Didn't really push it because it only had 10 miles on it. Windows are not tinted yet but will be soon. Enjoy your car.
