According to a post on another forum, someone on this forum from the UK has managed to change their build week to be able to get the new "apps" option, plus anything else which comes available then - maybe black panel instrument cluster, maybe stop/start auto gearbox.

What week do we think you would have to have it built from, and anyone know which BMW dealer did this?

Yes....its me. I wanted 6nr so I have added it to my spec. My car was still spec amendable and due for build week 6. In order to get 6nr they will not build the car now until week 9 when all 2011 updates get to the production line and it was mentioned that as a consequence of this I may get other 2011 upgrades.(stop/start auto,extended black panel etc).

Although I have added 6nr and delayed build to accommodate this I think it is 'partial' guesswork from my dealer as to any other upgrades that come along but for me I definatley wanted 6nr BMW connected and am happy tondelay delivery by another 3-4 weeks. Any other upgrades that come along with that will be a bonus.

I am picking up a 528i on March 12th in Munich for European delivery. Will I be able to get these new updates? How much extra in US dollars I have to pay? Car is destined for New York.
