It looks like the door panel has to comeup.
Pushing down the tweeter corner will not solve the problem. Anyone making a nice DIY of this topic? And maybe adding at thesame time the retrofit of the ambient light in the front door panels? |

Whilst car was in for software update last 2 days dealer tried and failed to sort this on my car.
They had door cards off and refit trying to mount up higher but their tech said there is not enough adjustment. Gaps still there. For member on here that said his dealer resolved. How exactly? Not sure what else to do now. Could just leave it or maybe call BMW uk cust service and send them a pix ask to forward to 5-series product manager for comment. Anyone already have his/her details? I can live with it but be nice if they designed new speaker housing that fitted better and filled the gap. |

I had my dealer look at mine and he had to order the insulation. He tried to straighten it out, but it didn't work. Unfortunately the part is on backorder which means lots of people are complaining about it apparently.

Seems correct. I tried messing with it for about 5 minutes but then got bored. I have neither the time nor the inclination to undo the door panel.
