Hill adjustable lighting
How can I add this? I have adaptive LED programmed and working but this wasn't part of it.

Adaptive Beam Throw is functional from the factory on any car with Adaptive Lights and isn't disabled for US Cars. No coding is required to activate it. With LED's it's more subtle as the arrays will first vary the intensity to shorten or lengthen the beam throw. If the car determines more adjustment is required, the stepper motors will slowly adjust as well. |

Don't know what to tell you. I had mine coded by octopump and they work. I've commented on the timing of the 'tunnel' but they work most of the time.
They look like the video below. I just can't see the hill adjustment. I'll ask octopump if he knows about this. Maybe he can add it. |

I was one of the very first to do GFHB coding about 2 years ago and have been working with several others for some time now after it became clear it is NOT fully functioning. I don't need the BMW Video of a 7er which is a different type of system. I have my own which shows the issues. At 3:32, the beam pattern is clearly visible on the rear of the Semi. In Diagnostic GFHB Alignment mode, the LED Array that operates Glare Free HIgh Beam is not dimming 2 of the 4 LEDs as can be seen in the first image. The array at the lower Right should be half illuminated. Looking at the light projected from this, 10m from a flat vertical surface, a perfectly square tunnel 4' 8-5/8" (144cm) wide should be present equally divided in half with the centerline of the vehicle as the reference. As can be seen in the second image, it is only 10" wide. There is no way to access the Individual LED control through coding. It's deep in programming and we're still not done resolving it. |
