Mine does. I updated it last year and it's been showing album art cover since.

Are you using USB or music collection?

On my 2011 X5 (CIC) album art only worked on USB and not MC. On USB it worked so long as the album art is embedded into the the track (use MP3tag or similar free software).

On my 2012 F10 (NBT) album art works on USB and MC so long as the same conditions are met.

For the first couple of years of ownership, I used the BMW-supplied "Y" adapter (30-pin to USB & micro audio plug) to connect my iPod Nano to the vehicle's audio system via the center console. Despite all the necessary software updates, I never got album artwork.

However, after reading a tip on this forum about switching to an Apple cable instead (which only utilizes a USB connection to the center console), I now enjoy album artwork on my 2011 F10.

Give it a go (assuming you're using an Apple product) to see if it works...

On my 2014 LCI NAVPro is following problem: album art shows when I play music from USB, but if I copy this USB music to BMW HDD it does not show art anymore, furthermore for some of the songs it works from HDD.

Where could be the problem?

This is the way it was/is in my retired 2012 535i and my current 2015 535i.
