Confused with which tires I need

Ok guys here is my situation.
I have a 535i non xdrive. I purchased the oem 331 wheels from a member that came off of an xdrive (does that mean they are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5?) or are they probably the same size all around.

Tire wise- what would be the recommended oem setup for these wheels if I put them on my car and additionally what sizes would work without affecting the speedo?

Would I use the same size all around or a staggered setup and what would the correct size be?
Thanks!

typical wheels setup for square xdrive:
19x8.5" ET33
245/40/19

However, there is a chance the previous owner may have a staggered setup, in this case, the rear would be (the front would not change from above):
19x9" ET44
275/35/19

Can you identify any marking on the wheels to see they are different/bigger ?

What would you like to change to ? If you are sticking with the same wheels ?

The owner said he did not change the wheel setup from oem so that means it should be a square setup - in which case 245/40/19 all around would be ok correct?

If by chance they are indeed staggered wheels would using 245/40/19 all around be contraindicated or cause any problems?

I haven't looked at the wheel yet as they are packaged but is there any marking on them to correctly identify the size?

visually, you can line up all four wheels and see if there are diferent sizes. There should be marking at the back of those wheels as well.

By default on xdrive car:
A square setup, then go with the factory spec. 245/40/19. If you want to go wider on the rear, you cannot do it with those rim.

If by remote chance:
If staggered setup, then you can go with square setup (no issue at all) or you can make the rear 275/35/19 (to make it a bit more aggressive)

As for tires, lots of bloggers, incl. myself use Michelin PSS. Very good tires.

Yes, size and offset are stamped on the back of the spokes of OEM wheels. Offset will be marked IS, e.g. IS33.

I do Jane a separate winter 17 inch setup so I'm open to suggestions but I would prefer all season run flats because in the northeast the weather can be unpredictable

May I suggest the following:
Since you already have a set of winter (17"), why don't you go with the new set of performance 19", instead of all season 19" ... the reason is you should get the most out of your high performance car with a high performance tires. They have much more better grip/traction in dry & wet. The all season will never achieve this type of performance.

So then Michellin Primacy Sport would be your choice?
