Glad to see TUDM is back, but that commercial is incredibly cheesy. The whole point about BMW's relatively good fuel economy is that they combine this trait with a focus on driving dynamics. This commercial says absolutely nothing about the key feature of every BMW - that it is (or is supposed to be) the best handling and steering car in its class.

My point is that I want BMW to be great to drive, not nice to be in. Sure. F10 has many great aspects. Interior for one. It definitely has that wow factor. But all those greatnesses should be additional extras to the single most important virtue - the DRIVE. After all, isn't (or wasn't) "TUDM" all about this? I hope this new ad means something. Like I said, "Action speaks louder than ads". |

I guess all I can say is I rent many cars for business trips. I also like many of you are in family and friends cars. There literally is no equivalent to my F10. When I am in my F10 not only is the interior leagues ahead but so is the drive.
I do agree that the more BMW moves back to TUDM and away from this foofy Joy the better it will be. BMW should not cater to the whole metrosexual with a latte image. It should be foremost about men, testosterone and pushing the limits of speed and handling. I know this thinking isn't popular today but its just how I see it. I guess in summation, when someone gets in my F10, I want them to buckle up NOT because its the law but because they have a tinge of "oh shit".

Different subject, but don't you love it when a "lady" drives a men's car/bike, especially when she does it well. Trinity on that bike, oooooooohh!!!!! |
