Glad to see TUDM is back, but that commercial is incredibly cheesy. The whole point about BMW's relatively good fuel economy is that they combine this trait with a focus on driving dynamics. This commercial says absolutely nothing about the key feature of every BMW - that it is (or is supposed to be) the best handling and steering car in its class.

Besides the typical regurgitated bloviated talking points of the nay-sayers that hang around like vultures after any new variant is released by BMW ... what the hell is the BIG mistake?!?! Dynamics for comfort??? How so? I mean, I have owned 2 F10's first one 4500 miles in all sorts of roadways at all sorts of speeds, now another that has 1500 miles, I have yet to find a moment that the words mistake come to mind.

Sorry if I come across testy but when is it ever enough? I read post after post of how bad the e60 was and now post after post of how bad the f10 is. This is an incredible creation give it some respect!
None taken.

My point is that I want BMW to be great to drive, not nice to be in.

Sure. F10 has many great aspects. Interior for one. It definitely has that wow factor. But all those greatnesses should be additional extras to the single most important virtue - the DRIVE. After all, isn't (or wasn't) "TUDM" all about this?

I hope this new ad means something. Like I said, "Action speaks louder than ads".

I guess all I can say is I rent many cars for business trips. I also like many of you are in family and friends cars. There literally is no equivalent to my F10. When I am in my F10 not only is the interior leagues ahead but so is the drive.

I do agree that the more BMW moves back to TUDM and away from this foofy Joy the better it will be. BMW should not cater to the whole metrosexual with a latte image. It should be foremost about men, testosterone and pushing the limits of speed and handling. I know this thinking isn't popular today but its just how I see it.

I guess in summation, when someone gets in my F10, I want them to buckle up NOT because its the law but because they have a tinge of "oh shit".

Different subject, but don't you love it when a "lady" drives a men's car/bike, especially when she does it well. Trinity on that bike, oooooooohh!!!!!

Bring back an ad of some dude getting wheel spin and taking hairpins while owning everything in its path, I will wait for BMW marketing department to get its shit together.

ps. love the tribute to the fuel light being ON!
+1 - This ad also shows total disconnect between the production and marketing team. The commercial is more suitable for a oil company rather than a car maker that tries to innovate and create best fuel efficiency and high performance vehicles....

Right on with that. Fact is, people like you and me, we are a dieing breed. The masses have been fooled to think that getting it on the back roads, feeling the adrenaline from your toes to eyebrows as you work the clutch and burn rubber is the equivalent to killing the earth.

... must be in the coffee ...

These are the types of commercials I wish BMW would always use. I have plenty of ideas like this I wish I could tell BMW about.

I own one too, and my review wouldnt include anything that these "professional" reviewers keep repeating, like a bunch of jackals!
