BTW, these are RPI's F10 M5 mufflers, they were easy to fit and sound awesome.

I will see about getting an audio clip up, no problem.
Yes, I am leaning towards the OEM M5 diffuser, then add a CF insert later.
The tips are 4", so that is why I was looking at the M5 diffuser, they fit that without modification.

Looks like mine will look like yours as I see the pipe diameter goes from 3" to 2.5". Clean welding job. Can't wait to do mine!

Here is the TOP view - the tips are a little extended out on purpose, I am planning an M5 or similar diffuser and when that gets installed they have a lip that will cover some of the tips.

Probably would have been ideal to have the diffuser on when u had the exhaust put on that way you don't take a chance on having the exhaust moved again in case you think the tips still stick out too far. That's what I'm planning on doing. Those 4" tips are

The M5 diffuser requires the left and right exhaust tips to be a bit closer together than on a regular F10. Not as extreme as on the M3/M4, but the M5 also has the exhaust tips closer to the centre of the car.

Just compare the position of the right hand inner exhaust tip relative to the tow hook cover on the bumper on a M5 vs a regular F10:

Yeah, both me and the guy that installed figured it will need adjustment when the diffuser gets installed. That is fine, I will deal with it.

The M5 exhaust sits more inward than the regular 5 series. That's why there's differences in Diffusers. For mine because I have the M5 DTM diffuser I'll need to have my Meisterschaft's moved more inward a bit when I get them installed

I have a feeling your tips are gonna be out too far...post some pictures when you swap out the diffuser

BTW, since this exhaust fits the 535, the 550, and the M5 - I spoke with RPI, they are willing to offer 25% off to forum members who want this exhaust. Regular price is $1200, but they will do $900 for anyone here. Tell them I sent you

That's cool, the muffler shop figured there would be an adjustment when the diffuser arrives. He told me if it needs adjustment - no charge

Since you're in SoCal, where did you get the install done? I'm looking for a reputable shop myself.

I got my exhaust installed at "The Muffler Man" in Placentia, good dude, and all 5* Yelp reviews. Reasonable too.

After seeing this, I looked on some youtube for sound clips and it sounds amazing. Where did you buy it? I don't see them readily available
