eBay Parts Review (Spoiler, Grill and Reflector Delete)

About a week ago I was trying to decide which eBay seller I should purchase from this post is for people like me who don't know who do buy from.

Item Purchased,
M5 Style Spoiler (Painted) from AdvanceTuning - 5 business days
M5 Style Dual Slant Grill (Gloss Black) from emotors2000 - 4 business days
Painted Reflector Delete (Painted) from CreativeMotoring - *Havent Received Yet*

I was happy with all the items I received. They were a lot cheaper then I found on the forum. Fitment was great.

Looks good!

It's a hit or miss with eBay as someone right now could order exactly the same parts and have the opposite experience from quality issues, fitment issues or shipping took too long.

If anyone has info on carbon fiber mirror covers from ebay, chime in. Looking to pull the trigger but unsure about fitment. They all state (in broken english) that some minor work may have to be done. Last thing I want is a crappy looking mirror cover that sticks out in all the wrong places.

@Bimm3rDreamer did you just use the grab the grill and pull hard method to remove or did you pop the hood and loosen top of bumper ?

nice car, exactly like the one I have. Im ordering the carbon fiber trunk spoiler from emotors2000 you should look into it. Also another cool and cheap mod is the m performance side skirt decals, i bought it for $22 from ebay and they come in carbon fiber print instead of the black print bmw sells.

personally i would've went with a carbon fiber trunk spoiler. but still looks clean!!! :tup:

I was talking about the bigger decal. The one that covers the entire side skirt and then the "M Performance" goes on top of it.

Yes, I did. It came out really nice especially with the CF background compared to the regular black one. If you wet the body and also the decal it becomes much easier to install. Unfortunately I scraped the right side on a curb so its a little ruined but im getting a replacement set.

Pull hard method.
While the car was a little warm after driving it around I kinda pressed it down towards the floor and pulled toward myself. Worked great was kinda scared in the beginning so I would pull hard enough don't be scared to pull it hard. Was super easy all together took like 5-10 mins.

Thanks! I was gonna do CF but I decided I wanted to go with a more OEM M5 look. Can't go wrong with either one IMO

$80 shipped! They gave a lot of extra 3M tape. Its been a few weeks my wing hasn't lifted one bit.

i recently purchased that same spoiler in space grey.

I haven't installed it yet. however from just doing a test fit it seems to fit well.
