Question BBS RZ-D

Diamond Black painted.

Diamond Silver painted.

Just saw this BBS forged Mono-block RZ-D and was wondering if someone already have them on the 5...and the good old question; will they fit on an F11 Xdrive or not

Currently running with the factory setup 245/40/19 ET33.
Since BMW offers 20" in staggered setup (M550d xdrive) so my guess is the same would apply here (245/35 & 275/30) or?

This RZ-D reminds me of BMW 312 or is it just me?

Please share your input and thoughts.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers.

I see no reason they wouldn't fit, ET28 front and ET40 rear means the front will stick out 5mm more and the rear 10mm more than OEM staggered 19" and 20" wheels and that's no problem.

Those are sick wheels, and BBS finest. Note that they're not just "normal" forged wheels of 6061 aluminium alloy, but forged from 7000 series aluminium alloy, and that's even stronger than the 6061 forged alloy.

As far as I know, BBS are the only one forging wheels from 7000 series alloy aluminium, also called duraluminium hence the "dura" on the centercap.

If you get those wheels, I will

Front wheel sticking out 5mm more is ok but I guess there will be some gain in the ride height (?).
As for the rear with 275/30, this new wheel will be 19.7mm closer to the suspension (compared to my current 245/40 ET33 )....the real concern here (or is it just my OCD )
Also not really sure if there will be a gain or loss in the ride height...Not planning to drop my F11 yet since there is a baby on Board

You will go from 245/40/19 to 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 with pretty much the same diameter, so not a problem.

And the inner clearance is not a problem either since they're "only" 9.5" wide. I'm seen both 20x10.5 and 20x11 both ET35 on a F11.
