They'll look small on a f10, should be 245/40/19 + 275/35/19.

No problems with 245/4019 front and 275/35/19 rear. But make sure to use BMW approved "star" logo tires. Otherwise you will have problems with the xdrive.
I have the same setup on my f10 xdrive Cheers |

How does the star logo make the tires compatible with xdrive? Isn't the diameter of the tires what matters?

I really don't know how, but it does...believe me I tried 4 different sets without the star logo and they all made the xdrive jerk like crazy. Everything was back to normal as soon as I switched to approved tires. It may have something to do with the tire tread or rubber.

If I had to guess, I would say that the star means that BMW has certified that the staggered sizes match in diameter front to rear. There's lots of wiggle room in tire sizing specs and the real life diameter of staggered sizes may not match close enough if special attention isn't paid by the manufacturer.
