Winter Tire Size Help

Hey Guys, need a little help on some winter tires.

I have my stock 19inch 331 rims that I'm going to be using so I need some suggestions on which is a decent snow tire as well as size I should run.

535i RWD.

Staggered wheels?

I still recommend square tires for winter use.

245/40-19 would be OEM size.

245/45-19 will work aswell. Slightly higher sidewalls helps with better traction in snow, comfort and wheel protection.

Yes, just go with the OEM size, 245/40/19. Even if the rear wheels are staggered (9" wide and 8.5" in the front) 245/40/19 works great. Got that myself.

Yes they are staggered, so 245/40/19 all the way around? Do you have any recommendations on a decent tire thats reasonably priced. We have only had a little snow so i just need them to last a few months then i can put my niches back on.

I am running Bridgestone Blizzaks and think they are a pretty good winter tire. I had Dunlop Wintersport 3D in the past and prefer the Bridgestone. They are really good in a few inches of powder and slushy conditions.

When I lived in University Heights, NE Ohio, I ran Michelin X-Ice. My work was in Geauga County, and the winter roads were brutal, at times. I've tried other brands; however, Michelin is my choice for a dedicated winter set.

I found the X-Ice to handle better than the Blizzaks on ice. On the other hand, the Blizzaks had a slight edge when plowing through snow. Both, are very good snows, and you can't go wrong with either.
