in the past the mechanic had to guess whats wrong with car
As the owner of an E90, I can tell you that even when the computers tell you what's wrong, the BMW techs still have to guess at what the problem is.

I own an E90 and an E30. While I like how both drive, but they feel nothing alike. Truth be told, the E30 is much more fun to drive.

OP, awesome video!!

After watching this, I'm itching to get an e30 M as well. I can only imagine how fun this is considering that it's light weight compared to my e92 m3.

Whenever ppl ask me which car was my fav to drive all around I still refer back to my lowly e46 323 I used to own so I can definitely relate. Hope the new m2 will bring back some of the nimbleness of the older cars.

Enjoyed the video. A nice attempt at creator to pump up his e30 resale value LOL.

Progress or change is inevitable; part of the human equation. The future holds cars that auto pilot and amusements parks where you have to go to actually drive a car.

I really miss mine. bright red, two door, manual gearbox, tan interior with heated seats. Best part about it was I got it for FREE!!! Did a valve job, put a new front driveshaft in it, dumped it on H&Rs and Konis. Loooooved that car, still kick myself for selling it. Drove through snow like a hot knife in butter.

I've had a couple of E30's in the past and have not lost the love for them. And although I moved on to a 135i, the E30 always felt more fun to drive and pound on. To really appreciate them you have to get completely inmersed into one and understand it completely.

That is why I miss mine so badly.

My first car was a 2002, my dad then bought an e30 325i which unfortunately got smoked by a dump truck.

The cops told him that if he'd have been in just about any other car he would have been dead.

So I don't buy the lack of safety features / standards in the car. They are inherently super safe. The so called safety features in modern cars are, for the most part, driver aids that allow the driving experience to be dumbed down so less skill is required. I recognize that not everyone is going to learn how to balance a car on the limit, threshold brake or executive a perfect heel and toe. BUt damn its fun!

Learning to drive in a 2002 was the best thing any one could have ever done for my driving.

My son is going to be ready for his own car soon. There is something super appealing about finding a decent e30 325 for him. Not only for my entertainment in keeping it running but also in having him in something that he'll develop driving skills in.

Can't wait until the Performance Driving Center will be open in Cali. Will get him down for the 2 day course and maybe go to M school again myself.

These Cars take me back to my Childhood Memories.. the First BMW I saw was an E30 back in 80s and 90s
Were the Rich Man's Toy back in my country (not even M3 but Basic ones)
Just would use to run down the street and drool over them ..
Would love to own and definitely drive these in future

Just watched this video... Very cool.

Makes me wish I still owned any one of my four different E30s... If they weren't all totaled by asshole drivers.
