Drivetrain Malfunction then Thud....

Been getting DTM over the past few days. Once a day. Go to start the car and it starts and runs smooth, then it comes on and I can't put the car in drive. Let it stay off for a few minutes and all clears.
Today i was doing about 120 km/hr, then punch it for a bit felt a thud like it dropped out of gear, then DTM in limp mode. Pulled over reset and all is clear! RRRRRRRR

Got home to scan it and can't figure where the issue is. Is it a short, loose cable, trani module? WTF!

Same codes when I installed my JB4, it had to do with my DME connections. Not saying it's your issue, but try reseating (disconnect/reconnect) all the connections

Funny this just happened to me today @40k. Was on the highway and went to punch it & it punched back. 50% throttle all the way home, jumping and it smelt like a 80's chevy burning gas. I'm sure one of the injectors went, it's at bmw now. I'll keep updated.

Also have a BMS stage1

Please do, although i have no mods to the engine. Just did the plugs and ignition coils recently and did a 800 mile drive to New Jersey on them. no issue. This just came out of no where.

You have no misfire codes, so it would be less likely to be plugs, coils, or injectors.

Those are DME related codes, you can see what the test plan calls for in ISTA. It's either going to say check the wiring or replace the DME

So I got a call from my S/A and he said I need a new fuel pump. He also said This car has 2 pump 1:in the tank & 1: somewhere else. ALSO the injectors need to be replace too. Will find out more tomorrow..

But I got a 2018 430Grandcoupe and the new system is LEGIT. Are we able to get this Navi on NBT? Or need a hardware upgrade?

Sounds like they are reaching. My car is due for a fuel pump recall. There is the main in the tank and the 2 high pressure pumps on the valve covers.

Be sure once I get it back the tune is going back n I'm pushing the sht outta that car. I want all to fail while I have maintenance coverage. I'll post the report once I get the car back.
I'm also getting extended maintenance coverage for 1900$. His price. Not bad at all.

I recently hit 41k and got hit with the DTMF. Dropped it off at the dealer Monday morning and they’re still trying to figure it all out.

Smh. this happened to me Monday afternoon around 1:30ish,Dropped it off 45min later and got It back Weds afternoon around 3pm. Your service location is being lazy, do you have a relationship with your SA? I always take care ($) of my guy every time I see him.
