F10 N55 start/stop feature issue
Has anyone else had their start/stop feature reversed so that it is always off and you need to push the button to enable? I went in to have this done last week and my car came back different. I felt like it was detuned. It has noticeably less torque off the line in any mode (comfort or sports).
Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions on how to resolve? |

I didn't realize this was possible. Is this the dealer which performed this operation?
(And if it's dealer, can you just go back to them and have them check it out?). |

To reverse the MSA (Stop/start) the dealer must program the vehicle. This is done by request only

Thanks for the feedback Juiced, what do you mean by relearn the adaptations. What I am experiencing is something that seems to be consistent with the issues other 1 series N55 owners have discussed in some other threads I just recently found.
My car came back with a huge difference in torque after being programmed to reverse the start/stop feature. I only have 1200 miles on it so my Comparison is limited but it is that noticeable, especially in certain areas around home where before I could easily put myself back in the seat taking off or coming out of a turn and now all I get is a pause while the car down shifts and then revs up much higher than before to achieve less of a takeoff. Make sense? Thanks for your input... |
