I am running 19x9.5 and i want to get some new tires.
at the moment i am running the stock tires 245/40/19 but will like to upgrate them.

There are many threads already on your topic, so perhaps that is why no-one has responded yet. Check out this site for tire size comparisons:
https://tiresize.com/calculator/

Because you have an xDrive, Option 1 for your front tire is NOT a good idea, based on what I have read on this forum given the negative effect of the difference between front/back tire circumferences on the xDrive system. You should have front/back differ by no more than 1%. Option 2, as you probably know, is a BMW-considered stock staggered setup for xDrive in Europe. I have had this setup on my Canadian F10 for over a year with no issues.

Clearly, your question is asking what tire width is a reasonable fit for 9.5" wheels. Your rear option is exactly what I have on my 9.5" rear wheel and it looks great with no stretch or bulge. 245mm is narrow for a 9.5" inch wheel, but going much wider than 255mm on the front wheel has caused some on this forum to not recommend it.

Good luck.
