7 digit postcodes and speed cameras on F10 Navi?

Hi,

Can someone help me, I'm trying to track down whether you can see speed cameras on the Business Navi pack on an F10? Also, I heard there's some problem in entering the UK postcodes?

Thanks!

Not sure on the speed cameras, the general consensus from this and other forums is no... The 7 digit postcode entry works only business nav, it's the post september builds have the new combox which allows entry, the postcode goes in the same box as city...

I have Pro nav and can enter 7 digit post codes into the city request box. Mine is only 4 days old though.

Apparently there's a program from a company called 'pimp-my-navi'. but not sure whether it works on an F10

hi guys.

Just picked up my 523i SE Auto F10 yesterday, great car love it so far everyting i wanted and more.. but cant seem to enter 7 digit postcode into the Sat Nav, the car was registered 30/9/10 (60 plate) and it has got full prof sat nav system, i would look in the manual but the dealer decided not to put them in car !

Can it been done or do i need some kind of software update for the car or nav ?

Yes, just start inputting the postcode with 'city' highlighted - after the first two letters, scroll to numbers, select and continue. My car is also Sep build - no additional software required.
Tell your dealer that the owner's handbook most definitely should be delivered with the car - did you not receive the black wallet with warranty info etc? The handbook should be inside.
There's also a software version of the handbook in the iDrive vehicle info section.

Build date is on a sticker attached to the underside of the bonnet.
I initially found the postcode input process to be a bit clunky - are you selecting the space key between both letter/number groups?
