the reason a ask about oem bolts is becoz when installing the Forgestar.

The tire guy can only gets 7 turn. The standard oem rim is 9 turn.

Therefore 2 revolution turn less meaning 3mm less. and rise concern over safety. no full thread penetration to the hub threads can result in unsafe wheel fitment.

And they are super car, the torque is super.
But our normal seden 528i , using the super wheel. What torque will be ?
Here is some racing car photo, you can see the ratio of the wheel and tyre?

BMMW, it seem you are really into performance mods over looks of the car.

may i recommend you the DTM style rear wings. that sure gives you enough down force when racing.

If the speed is not enough, down force is not effected.
It will make the cd (air resistance) higher so that more fuel will be waste.

I see. The shop didn't tell me. Should have known as our rims have greater off set. What kind of bolts are your using?

Absolutely correct.

M3 stock wheels 18" 245/40/18, option for 19" forged rims (18" are cast) 245/35/19.

M5 19" rims' is 285/35/19.

These are all low profile tires.

DY bros, In this case, it definitely need some new bolts to fit if I were you!
Sometime We will running at 1xxKm, at which speed the force is not joking, those safety-factor set up by OE must be meet, just my 2 cents!
Correct me if I'm wrong....

I wouldn't worry too much if it is 7 full turns instead of 9 full turns, provided the torque applied to tightening the screws is enough.......

I'm not worry for daily driving. but for night cruising with Jacky and other BM lovers its abit worrying.

Anyway all the current new BMW F01,F07,F10,F11 new Mini's uses M14x1.25 27mm lug bolt.

I order some 6mm+ bolt in case i really wants to change.

Hope it cost you no too much, otherwise I would suggest use titanium bolt instead, which is 1 Lb or so weight saving and I will equip it with my Forged1 later

Hey all...new here. Was going through the deliberation on changing the stock staggered 18's 350M's on my new 528i (to be picked up next week). I was looking at the 19 or 20" Kelleners Berlins, but now will go check out how much they weigh first.

This has been very informative. Thanks.

One other thing, the M-Sport version comes with staggered tyres, your reviews here in reference to the 20" F14s...are they staggered or same width? And how much did they set you guys back in Singapore?

Any photos of the car with the F14's?

Cheers,
Adrian

Welcome hold,

F14 is staggered and I believed the size is x9 for front and x10.5 for rear.

For photos, you may take a look at RC3 and mlai car here in theforum. Or if you search by Forgestar F14, I'm sure you will find lots of details, as it is very popular and light weight rims for F10.

Hi hold. I don't think anyone on this Asia forum has those wheels. There is a member called perisak who has them. Try to look it up. Let us know if you go ahead with them. Those wheels look really nice!
