Anyone replaced front grills on F10 2013+
I followed the steps found at http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=422572 and got to the step of removing the grill. I removed the top half of the grill by pulling the bumper forward and pressing a screw driver towards the 3 clips at the top.
I couldnt reach the sides or bottom of the grill to remove the clips- anyone done this, or am i missing a step? I dont know if the link posted above is different on 2013 LCI models? |

It's hard to get your hands in behind the front bumper. Just need to give it a good yank. If you heat it up a little - hair dryer. Should soften the plastic and make it a it more flexible. But just pull it out.

I did it on my 2014 model in the depths of winter. I had read about warming the car/engine up and that they just pull off with a good yank. Wouldn't budge, mind you I forgot about the warming up. Ended up loosening the top panel, the top clips came away ok but the lowers wouldn't budge, just yanked them off in the end causing some of the bottom clips to break! Perhaps a good going over with a heat gun would prevent this.
