It rides incredibly quiet and smooth on the highway, and has plenty of space for passengers and cargo in the trunk. Compared to the smaller 3 series, the 5 series is a huge step up in luxury and refinement while maintaining very capable handling. It has a ton of power and still gets great fuel economy (30mpg+) History: This car was purchased from the original owner and has been dealer maintained since new. Records are available on the carfax report. No accidents, clear title. Reason for sale: I am a car enthusiast and have owned many sports cars over the years. I like to research and buy great cars, then I move on to the next car that catches my interest. This example is one of the best I have seen for the price, with all the right options. Vehicle Condition: Exterior: 9/10. Curb rash on a couple wheels, some light clear coat scratches. Interior: 9/10. Overall looks great for the year. Everything works, no warning lights. Some light peeling on a couple buttons. No damage to the leather. This generation 5 series came equipped with really nice LED exterior accent lighting, as well as ambient lighting on the interior. Power soft close doors and trunk were optional and are a great upgrade feature. Mechanical: 10/10. No known issues at all, runs and drives like new. All of the common parts to fail on these cars have already been replaced. BMW of Cedar Rapids just completed a full inspection and did several of the gaskets. Tires and brakes are nearly new. Recent repairs/maintenance: All OEM parts, done within the last month. Receipts available (Over $6k worth of service) Rear Bilstein shocks Oil change Oil filter housing gaskets Valve cover gasket Oil pan gasket Belt Belt tensioner Bridgestone RFT tires OEM Battery Both fuel pumps Known issues: Curb rash on a couple wheels, scratch on fender that has been touched up.
