535i custom midpipe/ mufflers exhaust
This is a resonator back system. It replaces your stock resonator mufflers with two Vibrant resonators and two Dynomax VT mufflers. The beauty of this set up is that it sounds great when stepping on it, but there is no drone. The mufflers have a flap that open when you press down on the gas peddle, and close when you're crusing at lower RPM. Included are two clamp on Gibson 3.5" tips. Tips are not welded on, you can change their position or change to different tips. Can also be used for cars with quad tip diffuser. You'll just need to have the exhaust shop shift the muffler, and buy quad tips. Pics: This is a look at the inside of the muffler and the chamber used to control the drone. Here is a rev and take off video. Last edited by twelve535i; 04-22-2014 at 08:22 PM.. Reason: PRICE DROP |

Price Drop. 250 bucks and you've got yourself a simple way to hear your car come alive without the annoying drone.
To answer the installation questions, your muffler shop could cut your stock exhaust before your center muffler, and weld this system on. If you don't like welding, they can put on a suitable clamp for you. |
