535iA on order

Hi, I just sold my 2008 E90 M3 6MT saloon and ordered a 535iA with 19"alloys(331) TiAG, HE and a sh1tload of other goodies including Integral Steering or whatever it is called and M Technik suspension. Black leather interior.

ETA is may 2010.
Price:Euro 90k comes close(Omagawd how I hate this small country...)

I'm happy and I have a wife and 2 big kids. And yes the E90 M3 is awesome blabla, I just fell in love with the F10 a few months ago that's all.

Cheers,
Robin

Congrats!! Titan Silver looks great on the F10, especially in motion. I saw it live in public at the 2010 Geneva show in the last few days. BMW was giving courtesy rides with a Titanium Silver and a Space Gray F10 5-series.

May is just around the corner!

Congrats man ! Great choice ... I've ordered the 528iA SpaceGrey, Beige interior, Sport seats, High Executive,18 inch wheels, and Hifi sound system.

Off-topic:
PS Als je eens op de A27,A12,A15 of A20 ben R-dam Utrecht, dan kunnen we eens de BMW's naast elkaar zetten en ff een stoplichtsprintje trekken ... zal niet veel schelen denk ik .....

I just changed the TiAG to Sapphireblack.

535i HE(including Dakota Leather big navi and other goodies) Automatic
Black metallic
'Shadowline' exterior
Styling 331 19"alloys
M technik suspension
sportsseats
sportssteeringwheel with flippers
and a few interior goodies + hifi professional system

ETA May 22nd 2010

Just drove a loaded 530dA and it's so silent, but a Boeing 747 has less buttons on the dash LOL.

Edit:@ Erasmus, vergis je niet in de kracht van 'n .35i. Mijn ex E90 335i was stukken sneller dan de E90 330i die ik daarvoor had....E46 M3 niveau, de 335i(die ik dáárvoor weer had LOL)

How many months can you change the exteriour color after you've ordered the car? Mine is due end of April
Of course, the 535i will blast the 528i away .... But the sight of two of these beauties on the highway is worthwile ...

Black is a superb color. I've seen it in real live with 20-inch wheels (which this car really needs), man ... awesome ... 19-inch is also ok I think. I'm wondering about the ride comfort, so I will wait and see and then make a possible switch towards bigger wheels (current 18).

You have to ask your dealer until which date you can change the colours. There is a 'pipeline'scheme of your car at your dealership.
Anyway I 'm going to stick with the 331's, nice combo. The bigger the wheel the better it looks I know, but a bigger wheel also means a 'heavier' wheel, which isn't always a good thing in terms of roadholding/steering and balance.
Maybe 18" are the best roadholding-compromises but they do look a bit tiny....

What is the M suspension? I looked at the 535i and 550i ordering guides for the US, and they didn't have a different suspension available as part of the Sport Package (which gives you the sport seats, 18-inch wheels, and a few more items).

Collected the boat today
In short: Superb car. Great chassis, not clunky and the 704 M Technik sportssuspension is just my taste.RFT's? Are you sure? Great comfort for such a car.... With only 50 miles on it I already got it to (not revving though)130mph(...) easily with 3 other persons inside the car(Autobahn), my bad LOL.

Some worthless pics because it was raining tonight

Better pics and a better writeup may follow.

Cheers
Robin
