2014 LCI Msport 704 Susp finally delivered

All I can say is WOW! Love the car. The suspension is a lot more compliant than expected and compared to my X5 with the 704 susp. It's still handles like a dream and tight in the corners. I haven't gotten too crazy as I'm still breaking in the tires. Mods so far M355 Avant Garde wheels. 19X9 with 255/40/19 and 19X10 with 285/35/19 Michelin AS3's. M performance spoiler, Black performance grills, 20% 3M color stable Nano tint. Still have to install Xpel Ultimate "self healing" film on the front and coat with Gtechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer and C2v3 Liquid Crystal. The car almost looks lowered as it is so I probably won't be adding springs. Here are some crappy pics for now, once I'm done I'll get out my good camera and take some hi res pics.

Congratz! Looks amazing...

May I ask what this is?

Xpel Ultimate "self healing" film on the front and coat with Gtechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer and C2v3 Liquid Crystal

I have a black F10 and the upkeep is just exhausting because of the jet black color.

You can google gtechniq for videos, but here's a link with info
http://www.autogeek.net/gtechniq-c1-silo-kit.html

The xpel is paint protection film or clear bra

Nice car. I'm like you -- the passive M-Sport suspension is Perfect. I have the same 20% tine and 20" AG355 wheels. Like you said, I'm glad that I don't need lowering springs either as the stance of the suspension is perfect.

Vin I'm almost wishing I went with the 20's. Where I live the potholes are horrible and I was too worried about damaging the wheels and a rough ride. These 19's are really comfortable and not harsh at all so I'm betting I would have been fine with the 20's.

My 20's are very comfortable -- so much more so than the 19 run flats.

Wait? Your car was one of the 535i early production that didn't have the 704 suspension that was supposed to come with the M-Sports Line? Did you purchase the entire 704 parts yourself or did BMW replace them for you?

Just curious.

No I ordered mine the end of August so it would be a September production car and have the 704 suspension. I drove the non 704 and didn't care for it. So I waited about a month to order.

I paid $320 for the pre cut kit and did it myself. Took me about 9 hours to do. I learned a lot along the way so I could do it faster now. The guys at my BMW dealership thought it was done professionally done. I just read some blogs and watched YouTube videos to leant now to do it.

I also have a 535i M-Sport with 704 M-Sport suspension. I find it to be a comfortable ride and decent handling. Sometimes it can be a bit jarring over some broken pavement but nothing that bad. I have a 2013 535i so I wonder if the 2014 suspension 704 is the same????

It "should" be the same, but who knows? You running RFT ? I have the Michelin PSS and the ride isn't harsh at all. That's why I'm thinking I could have gotten away with getting 20's instead of 19's.
