Question's about springs and tune
Hey all, new to F10 world but not BMW. Coming from 10' X6m to 14 550xi M sport and LOVING IT. Long story short I am going to put a set of wheels on the car in the summer. My question is to all of you with springs, what brand do you most recommend? And how different is the ride after the drop? ( taking bumps, cruising, bounciness, ect.) Also what kind of power increase are you folks with tunes getting? What is most noticeable after the tune, increased throttle response? quicker to boost? Thanks for the help on the "noob" questions and have a great weekend!

If you are looking for a more conservative drop, you might want to consider ACS Springs as well. As for tune, most are running the JB4 and seeing good results.

ACS springs. Lots of bad reviews about H&R - too bouncy and IMO they lower the F10 way too much. ACS springs ride like stock too.

For lowering spring, most members here have ACS or H&R. Really boils down to if you like the current ride or if you want a bit firmer ride. H&R will ride firmer than ACS will and also, H&R will lower your car tiny bit more than the ACS.
I do not plan on tuning the ecu on my car but have heard great stuff about BMS JB4 tune for our cars. Easy to install and generally pretty conservative tune. |

I have had both and H&R are my pick hands down.
