No problem with no options, who cares. Personally if it was a choice between a 5 series company car and a Mondeo with a few toys, I know which I would choose too. I remember the days of company cars and having little or no choice. At the end of the day, the 5 is a wonderful car whatever your spec, options just making it more personal.

If I have a puncture or a big service bill, I do look back and fondly remember the times I put my co car back into the dealer at no cost to myself, hire car handed over at no cost, and no bill at the end. Now I get big bills for tyres, service etc ( well not on this car with the service pack, but you know what I mean) and therefore staying within warranty becomes more important, and therefore I have to buy newer personally, which in turn means I pay for the depreciation of said new car.

Enjoy the car, and by the way, the one option you did choose, the colour, shows that you tried to be a little different to the herd of black,blackish, almost black and white - so good on you!! Space Grey is where it's at

Some good points here, but the 5 SE is actually a very well specced car as standard - much, much better than the days of old.

It basically has everything you would ever need and I would have just gone for the standard car but added some (relatively cheap) bits just out of personal preference.

Elec windows all round
Leather
Bluetooth
Heated seats
Climate
DAB
Etc etc

Just compare that with 5 years ago.
