need suggestions for new tires, 13' 528xi

Hey Guys,

I have had my car for two years now (2013, 528xi) I need to purchase new tires. I have been reading that many people do not like Run-flats... But I want to keep run-flats for maybe safety if I do happen to get a flat (Since I work in the city and commute to work.

My question is this: There are plenty options and brands for run-flats, especially contis. Asking you guys who have replaced your tires... which ones do you suggest?

Since, I commute to work.. and NYC roads suck ass... run-flats are a better option for me.

Preferably All-weather tires..

and one last thing,, I am also thinking of purchasing new wheels.. any suggestions for what size to get that would fit my 528xi? assuming 19" would be the ideal fit on the car?

any suggestions are appreciated. thanks Bimmer FAM!

I've only used Contis and Pirelli RF's and I'd have to say that the Pirelli P-0's RF's are much better in handling and comfort than the Contis. For comfort, I'd get 19's, for looks, I'd get 20's.

Great tires, non-run flat. You're more likely to get a flat from a pothole on a RFT than a non RFT.
