Passenger mirror tilting to rear wheel when reverse selected
Hi, all of a sudden my car starts to do this, automatically adjust the passenger mirror so it points to the rear wheel. Never used to do this and I am not sure how to switch it off - poked through options but doesn't seem to be an option for that. I did not like this option at all.
Any ideas please?

Switch your mirror control to the drivers' side.
(or read the manual  )

I don't really understand the perceived machismo in refusing to read the manual.

If I have my mirror set to the right mirrow, my left (driver's side) mirror should point down when in reverse right? If not, is this something that can be fixed under warranty?

The mirror only dips if you have memory seats and / or electric folding mirrors.

Thanks guys. Yes, I have this feature and now understand it. It works the same way on my Z4 35is as well.
