Cool Bizarre handling

520d f10

The car is handling differently every time I start a new journey, or a passenger gets in, or when I fuel up.
Sometimes, like this morning, the car handles superbly, as you would expect from a bmw it glides across the road absorbing the bumps and driving true, an absolute joy to drive. Other times, like this afternoon making the return journey, the car seems to jerk across the bumps as if all four wheels are are hitting the bumps and ruts seperately and the steering becomes twitchy. This has been driving me mad for months. I have put new wheels on it. Ive put new tyres on it. Ive had the alignment checked again and again and again! All four wheels are balanced and the tyre pressures are correct.
How can the car change so dramatically every time I drive it?

Someone please help!!!

It could be worn suspension parts like shocks, struts, and control arms. When did you last replace those? Also, when did you last change the differential bushing? A cracked bushing causes the car to behave rather weirdly. It would help if we knew the estimated mileage and year on your vehicle.

Maybe if you have adaptive suspension, it gives you different feeling. Try changing driving modes, to make suspension function differently, and maybe if it is possible, try connecting to diagnostics, and run suspension test. If you have regular auspension, try changing shock absorbers.

Make sure your lug bolts are torqued to spec.
