Hello everyone.

This is my first post so I'm sorry if its in the wrong place. I bought 2 BMW's from the Japanese auction site (USS). One for me F11 2014 and one for my missus F20 2014. Nice cars low mileage etc. Its just one thing. I can't find the vin plate/sticker. I was looking everywhere. Nothing. There is a tyre pressure sticker on the inner door, but no stickers shows vin, date of production, etc....?? Any suggestions??

I have the VIN under the bonnet engraved on the right side (UK driver)

From outside the car, look down onto the dash, on the outside front window near bottom, driver's side

What about the "A" pillar, down by the door hinge?

Ditto on the dash...on a LHD vehicle...there's a VIN plate near the A pillar on the driver's side where the dash and windshield meet.



On the door jamb...BMW sometimes puts a VIN label lower down near the base of the B pillar almost between the front & rear doors. Perhaps this is market/country based moreso than a BMW thing.

There should also be a VIN sticker located behind the rear license plate.

Any update? Did you find any of the other VIN locations?

Quick update...contacted DVLA, DVSA UK and Japanese authorities and I was informed that manufacturer plates/vin plate/sticker for Japanese market is not compulsory. Therefore I couldn't find it. Order for a new sticker submitted in my local BMW dealership. Thanks everyone for help.
