ACS spring installed

Just re-pickup my car at BMW TW centre, where it has been ACS spring installed
Special thnaks to Ken and his colleagues from there, where they did good job, though this is their first F10 spring swap and it took 5 days to complete.

Jacky bro. AC Schnitzer rocks. Drop seems kind of mild. But I beg it will settle a bit more after a few days. Please let us know how they ride after you test drive more.

BTW, when's your rims coming?

I think a big part of how the drop appears is the wheel size as well. After looking at a few of them, with 20" rims it looked pretty darn low, but with these smaller diameter rims it seems very mild.

The overall rim + tire diameter should be the same regardless of the rim size. Smaller rim with higher profile tire and Larger rim with lower profile tire.

Could be just visual illusion.

Thought the general rule of thumb is that the gap should be the same height as the tyre from the rim to look perfect.......

An excuse for bigger rims now

This...

Too much tire makes it look not low enough.

I am not joking when I said I wanna use your "auto shop". I actually wanna do something but don't have the tools. But nothing major.

Grim bro, just little distance ride from TW to office, but the road is twist (Castle peak road), needless to say the cornering is of course much faster!
Though still can't compare to 3 er.
Personally no complaint, perhaps I was driving 320i for 5 days, which confused my pervious F10 feeling
May be let you test drive next meet up and you can sense more than me

You can come to my parking lot i was making a complete mess at 2am and no one cares .. the impact drill makes a very load machine gun noise, i bet ppl wondering if a 24hr auto shop set up in their carpark
my tools are so cheap .. spent 1.5k and got jack, jack stand, 'pro' push cart, 12v impact drill (could not get ANY of the wheel nuts off with 56cm bar), 3 size 17/19mm wrenches, oil cap tool.. hehe. actually i feel i can tackle spring change soon .. i mean the taking off the brakes and putting them back on is pretty dangerous (already received lectures) but got it done
the advantage is i can take them off and re-position to infinite customization - my style! although it take a long time and effort to figure out first time, but after you done it once, probably can change one suspension corner a day .. see how each spring effects handling

you can borrow my jack and 'tools' but i wont stay their over 30seconds unless i haven't taken a shower yet ..you will sweat alot dont need to go to sauna
