Resonators Installed...much better

Ok, so yesterday I was driving around in what sounded like a NASCAR so I headed back to the muffler shop and had the resonators reinstalled. She sounds much better, still very aggressive but muted a bit. I don't know if the custom 3" piping adds to the sound or not but I love to deep growl that comes out now.

I'll post a video when I can get someone to hold the camera as I think the rev videos just don't tell too much.

Yes, 3.5" tips...I've had the carbon diffuser installed for a while and didn't want to have to swap the whole thing for the M5 diffuser and adapter plate so I went with the smaller tips

Very nice! One thing I was worried about installing my Meisterschaft's if it was going to be too loud but since I'm leaving my resonators I should be fine. Post an audio clip when you get a chance

what did the shop charge you to build the exhaust? I'm looking to do something similar most likely with different mufflers.

I found these Megan M5 mufflers (-3.25" inlet, 4" exhaust tip)

It ran me just under $500 for the piping, reinstalling my resonators and muffler install. One of the main reasons I went with the Magnaflow mufflers was simply to try something different. I'm glad I did because aesthetically and audibly it's what I wanted.

i was gonna go with the black versions but the fact they're 4"quad tips was appealing to me. have you listened to the youtube videos on these? not to bad if you ask me!

how much would have been if you didn't have to have the resonators reinstalled you think?

I love the Megan mufflers, sound dope no doubt and for the money they probably can't be beat but I wanted to think outside the box and try the Magnaflows.

The resonator reinstallation was $109

What did the shop charge to weld the mufflers on? They probably had to add a pipe into them as well right?
