Buying a used 2011/2012 535. What to look for?

Hey gang,

Sorry if it has been reposted or covered in some other forum within this website, but currently in the market for a 2011 or 2012 535i 6MT. Found a couple of 6MT versions within my region and will be looking to make a deal within the next couple of months.

Most are around 30-35k miles so it will still be under warranty...however, is there something in particular I need to be worried about or take note of? I've owned BMWs before so I am not naive to all the problems and even potential lemons that some BMW models can be...but for this particular model, what are the main issues/potential problem areas that I need to be aware of?

While the engine is running listen for any front suspension noise or squeaking comin from under the car

If a 2011, try to aim for a build date of 3/11, or newer.

Drive train Malfunction in my case it was the high pressure pump was leaking internally

Check if the car sways to the right. My dealer wont even fix it. Also check if the car has been modified before. Have a look at underbelly if there are scrapes due to loweting or unusual vuts in the exhaust.
