Larger Wheels for 535i with Integral Active Steering

Q: I have a new 535i and would like to know if there would be an issue upgrading the standard 19" (style 331) rims w/tire size of 19 x 8.5 F / 19 x 9.0 R to: 19" (style 359M) 19 x 9.0 F / 19 x 10.0 R. My concern is that I have the Integral Active Steering which moves the rear tire by 2.5 degrees. Am I able to upgrade or will this cause issues? Thank you.

This may help with my Q: Current tire size: 245/40 Front / 275/35 Rear

I am looking to increase tire size to: 245/35 Front / 265/35 Rear

I don't know the answer, may be difficult- unless you find someone who's done it.

Just want to add that wheel offset (ET XX = The offset of the wheel is the difference between the center line of the wheel, and the bolt face) is an issue and you didn't say tire size just wheel size, so I'm not sure of your plan. Spacers may help with offset.

Don't at all mean to discourage you! Hope it can work.

Thank you. I will get the tire size for both & post. I understand center line & the fact there may be L/R side space from center. What year is your C4S?

It all depends on the offsets of the wheels in question. Safe setup for F10 includes the following.

9 inch width ET35-40 FRONT
10 inch width ET40-45 REAR
